Hey all!

I hope your finding yourself snuggled up on this Christmas eve with mugs of hot chocolate, a warm fire, and a glowing Christmas tree. Or most importantly, spending time with family, friends, and loved ones. I'm spending this Christmas with my family in Virginia and loving it! The snow is great, because as a Californian, I never get to see it...lol.

This year has gone by wayyyyy to fast...although with the hard times most people have had this year, it was probably not fast enough. But I won't dwell, so here's to a wonderful Christmas and a bright new year for 2010! Much love and joy to all of you here, and I can't wait to see more inspirational artwork!

Hey everyone!

I really cannot believe it's already November...what happened to Halloween? Poof and it was over... Anyway, I am so stoked for the coming fall/winter holidays! I've been working on art pieces for Christmas presents, and will probably post them sometime after Christmas since I never know who's looking at my deviantart page, lol!

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a fun fun Fall season, and I look forward to seeing more "fallish" pieces. There's just something about this season--the colors, the smell, the scarves and mittens--that is just so breathtaking...although I wish it felt more like fall here in San Fran...(blah!).

Nothing much going on at my end, just the continual freelance work--and hopefully I'll be doing some really fun stuff in the next couple weeks. Also, I'm still doing $15 character commissions while I have the time, so feel free to hit me up! [link]

I just got back from L.A. seeing John Williams perform at the famous (and fabulous) Hollywood Bowl! It was a magnificent performance of well-loved scores, and even some not as well-known. The musicians were phenomenal and the first hour was devoted to Harry Potter scores (which of course pissed off the hundreds of light-saber-waving-Star-Wars-fans, lol), but of course I was in heaven. I had a blast being with my best friends and geeking out to the beautiful music. I strongly suggest catching his show if he performs near you anytime soon
