I've always been a big fan of you drawing, and it shows up so beautifully online. I was wondering if you had ever published any tutorials about how you take your drawings from paper to the computer, or if you could suggest any good resources for this?

Thanks for all the awesome work you share with us. We really appreciate it!

Wow, thank you so much. You don't know how much that means to me to get this kind of feedback. I don't currently have any tutorials that document my process...mostly because I don't usually have a specific process as of late. Lately, I've been doing a lot of traditional work with copic pens and markers, which I scan into Photoshop and mess with the "levels" and "brightness/contrast" and "hue/saturation" panels.

As for my digital work, a lot of it is done in a mixture of Photoshop and Flash (I rarely use Illustrator, although it has a lot of nice tools as well). Almost everything I produce starts with a pencil sketch. I usually scan it in and do the linework in Flash with the brush tool or go straight into Photoshop and use the brush tool. I'm very fond of Flash's brush tool as you get these fun, animated, curvy lines. After tracing over the sketch in Flash with linework and filling in the flat colors, I publish it as a PNG file and bring it into Photoshop to add the shading and lighting on different layers to get different effects and/or to be able to add or take away from different layers.

It's a constant learning process for me and I like to try different techniques depending on the art piece. Digital painting has always been a challenge for me, and I hope to continue to explore different techniques and options. If you want a more detailed explanation of a specific piece, don't hesitate to ask. And although I don't have any tutorials yet, there are plenty here on DA...I usually just search through until I find something close to the style I'm interested in working with.

Thank you again for you message, and I'll try to do some breakdowns of my artwork in the near future.

Have a great day!

This holiday season, there's a project going on-- giving 100 people 3 month premium memberships. It would mean a lot if you could/would help. For all I know, you could be one of the 100. If you would like to help, please donate to my donation pool and I will then donate all of it, which will be hopefully a large amount, on the last day to the account running this project for a holiday suprise.
I think what they're doing is great, just the thing to get into holiday spirit. So if you would like to grant 100 smiles this holiday season, please help by donating to my donation pool on my page, any amount is greatly appreciated.
I understand if you do not wish to, but if you could, at least help spread the word about this, that would mean a lot.
Thank you for your help and consideration.

Want you to know that you are amazing & you're my friend until my death. If I don't get this back, I understand. But, I have a game for you, once you read this letter, you must send it to 15 people, including the person that sent it to you . If you receive at least 3 back, you are loved. Nobody knows how important something is until...................they lose it. Tonight, right at 12:00a.m., the person you like is going to realize that they love you! Then, something is going to happen to you between 1:00 & 2:00a.m. Be ready for the greatest shock of your life. If you break this chain, you, you are going to have bad luck with love for a whole year. Send this to 15 people and see what happens ♥♥♥
